Joe Bodick, Founder & Pet Care Expert
Joe Bodick is a 9/11-era US Navy veteran with a passion for pets and a dedication to exceptional service. His journey in the pet industry began in 2010 as an Accredited Pet Training Instructor, where he specialized in group training classes. Joe’s expertise and leadership skills quickly propelled him to the role of Camp Director at Camp Bow Wow Albuquerque, a position he held from 2013 to 2017.
In pursuit of new challenges, Joe moved to Denver and founded A Happier Home Dog Pros, an in-home private dog training company. His innovative training methods and commitment to excellence earned him a stellar reputation in the community.
In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Joe shifted his focus to become a full-time foster parent and emergency elementary school teacher, stepping up to help others during a critical time. This period showcased his versatility and dedication to making a positive impact.
Returning to Albuquerque in 2024, Joe founded Just Poop Scooping, driven by his belief that dogs teach us how to live and love in the present moment. His military background has instilled in him a strong sense of organization, resilience, persistence, and discipline—all qualities that he brings to his business.
Joe’s core values are deeply rooted in integrity, honor, courage, and commitment. He believes these principles are essential to providing the best service possible to pet owners and their furry companions.
Outside of his professional life, Joe is an avid gardener and plant lover. He cherishes his time with his amazing little boy and strives to create a nurturing and loving environment both at home and in his business.
